Why use this product?

  • Greater root mass and lateral root growth,
  • Shoot and bud development, seed and pollen germination, pollen tube growth,
  • Chlorophyll production
  • Improved water and nutrient uptake
  • Increased resistance to abiotic stresses
  • Prevention of leaf scorch
  • boosts or “wakes up” the metabolism of a plant so that it can grow actively.

After Plant All Purpose Seaweed is a ready to use liquid concentrate, derived from the sustainably harvested kelp Ecklonia maxima, that can be used on all outdoor and indoor plants. This is no ordinary seaweed product.  It is cold pressed to preserve all the vital plant hormones which would be damaged by traditional heat extraction.

The natural hormones in Empathy All Purpose Seaweed are taken up by the plant and promote faster and stronger root and shoot growth. They will also promote the development of beneficial bacteria, microbes and the Mycorrhizal Fungi in the soil.

This is of particular interest if you are growing for cut foliage, but also when establishing liners or 1 litre stock, especially in a field situation.

An all purpose product; you can also use it as a root drench on patio pots, hanging baskets, window boxes and summer bedding.

Timing application is important.

For optimum results, on day 4 after planting your new Eucalyptus trees, apply as per manufacturers recommended rates. The auxin and cytokinin in the seaweed product works in conjunction with the young mycorrhizal fungi as they begin colonisation, ‘supercharging’ the development of your Eucalyptus root system. This in turn leads to faster establishment and a stronger plant.

Also slosh dilute seaweed solution over the foliage of your Eucalypts at the time of planting to help reduce transplant shock.  It helps improve foliage quality; strengthens the leaf cuticle, and reduces the effects of wind and sun scorch.  Repeat every 14 days during year one after planting.

In addition and where practical, there is every reason to recommend an annual foliar application during the growing season (April to September) on mature Eucalypts, especially if grown as a foliage crop.
