Suitable for all horticultural crops.

This product is a biostimulant, not a fertiliser. This means it 'supercharges' your plants natural systems rather than delivering 'fast food', and so creates a stronger, healthier plant.

Why use this product?

Kelpak is a kelp concentrate which is manufactured using a unique cell-burst process without heart, chemical digestion or dehydration. This patented process ensures maximum retention of the delicate growth promoting substances found in this species of kelp.

Kelpak also contains a wide range of nutrients, vitamins and amino acids.

The combination of plant growth regulating hormones impact upon plants in different ways according to the plant growth stage and condition.

Auxins and phlorotannins improve root growth; polyamines help to reduce the impact and symptoms of abiotic stress and brassinosteroids promote pollen tube elongation resulting in better fruit set.

This is of particular interest if you are growing for cut foliage, but also when establishing liners or 1 litre stock, especially in a field situation.

An all purpose product; you can also use it as a foliar spray and root drench on horticultural food crops, patio pots, hanging baskets, window boxes, trees, herbaceous borders and summer bedding.

Timing application is important.

For optimum results, on day 4 after planting your new Eucalyptus trees, apply as per manufacturers recommended rates. The auxin and cytokinin in the seaweed product works in conjunction with the young mycorrhizal fungi as they begin colonisation, ‘supercharging’ the development of your Eucalyptus root system. This in turn leads to faster establishment and a stronger plant.

Also slosh dilute seaweed solution over the foliage of your Eucalypts at the time of planting to help reduce transplant shock.  It helps improve foliage quality; strengthens the leaf cuticle, and reduces the effects of wind and sun scorch.  Repeat every 14 days up to 4 times during year one after planting.

In addition and where practical, there is every reason to recommend an annual foliar application during the growing season (April to September) on mature Eucalypts, especially if grown as a foliage crop.
